Life during a typical week of camp begins the morning with some devotional time and breakfast. After breakfast, most campers have an opportunity for some praise and worship, and class time, given by well-trained faculty. Following morning class time, craft classes or activities is a lunch and then recreation time. Recreation time could include swimming, canoeing, field games, team builder games and canteen. After supper, campers may enjoy worship time, concerts, and many different kinds of special events. Many deans end the day with a campfire devotion and campfire songs. The days are fun filled and many campers make life-changing decisions.
Qualified and capable workers staff White Mills Christian Camp. Camp leadership offers an average student/faculty ratio of five to one (five campers to each staff member).
Building friendships, discovering more about your relationship with Jesus Christ, and growing within are important ingredients of our camp program. Whether it’s during chapel time…class time…in a canoe…at campfire…in the swimming pool.. or on the ball field, our loving staff will supervise and encourage our campers to learn, grow, and have fun together.
For those of you who believe you are too old for one of our “weeks” of camp (and I don’t believe that you are too old) we also have three adult retreats: a Men’s retreat, a Women’s retreat, and a Senior Saint’s retreat. So don’t miss out on an opportunity to grow!
There is no better medicine for the soul than to participate in a camp program at White Mills Christian Camp, a place that believes in “sharing Christ’s love to every generation.” If you are unfamiliar with our programs we invite you to come tour our camp. We would love to have you stop by for a visit, or come spend a life changing week.
White Mills Christian Camp is located just three minutes off the western Kentucky Parkway and 15 minutes from Elizabethtown KY.
